Mega post for the best photographic project I’ve seen in a while. ‘The Nine Eyes of Google Street View‘ is incredible. It provides a truly fresh approach to photo-documentary that feels like a throwback to the time before people had learnt about how to interact with cameras. But we can see people beginning to interact with this kind of  non-static CCTV. Tellingly in the UK [which has the most CCTV cameras in the world] the subjects of streetview seem to well understand this new medium, and I find a lot of joy in their instant subversion with buttcheeks and gestulations!

These posters by Ken Garland are something I keep remembering. I wonder if this technique can still work today.
